Purple Coneflower is the workhorse of the native pollinator garden. From late June into September, its purple-pink daisies feed a parade of bees and butterflies.
Leave the seedheads standing into winter — goldfinches will strip them through the cold months.
Pair with Black-Eyed Susan, Mountain Mint, and Swamp Milkweed for a layered, all-season pollinator bed.
